Metal Sheet (Roofing) - Installation

1. Translucent roofs and metal sheets should be installed altogether in order to avoid the gap between the metal sheets. The translucent roof has to fit with the gap by laying both side of end rip on top of each side of the metal sheet. In case of re-roofing, it has to make sure that the space between the metal sheets has to be matched with the new roofing sheet.

Since translucent fiberglass roof is thicker than metal sheet, then the metal sheet cannot properly sit over the fiberglass roof. Normal metal sheet will have one end rib to sit on another metal sheet that the edge has been designed to lift up. So when it has to be laid under the fiberglass roof, the supporter will be needed on this side for better tightens than no supporter.

2. Drills leading hole for inserting the screw to fix the translucent roof. Diameter of the hole should be bigger than screw’s diameter about 1-3 mm. that it will allow the translucent roof to freely expand or contract.

3. Fixes the translucent roof with self drilling screw by positioning the center of screw to match with the center of the leading hole. To increase the installation effectiveness, the Space Cyclonics Washer with 30 mm. diameter has been recommended.
